At the Auto expo 2023, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5 door made its debut. The brand’s gurugram plant in India will produce the Jimny 5 door, which will then be sold abroad. The India-spec Jimny 5 door, in contrast to compact SUVs, is an off-roader at heart and maintains true to its name with tough underpinnings. Jimny 5 door is a sub-4 metre SUV with a 1.5 litre 15B gasoline engine. Maruti hopes to lead the sports utility vehicle market with the Jimny and Fronx. In order to recapture 50% of the domestic passenger vehicle market, the biggest automaker in the country also plans to enhance its position in the SUV market.
