After months of excitement, India’s leading producer of passenger vehicles, Maruti Suzuki, unveiled the YTB codenamed crossover and disclosed that it will be dubbed the Fronx in the country. As anticipated, the SUV turned out to be the same. Subcompact crossover Fronx, based on Baleno, made its debut at the 2023 Expo along with the Jimny. Stunning styling is included, further cementing Maruti’s Nexa series as a premium offering. In addition, the Fronx is the first vehicle to feature the reintroduction of the 1.0-liter Booster jet turbo petrol engine, which was previously only available on the now-defunct Baleno RS. Those interested in reserving a Fronx can do so at present, with costs expected to begin at around Rs 8 lakh.
