The United Kingdom-based car company– Range Rover has finally launched the Range Rover Velar in India. The car comes with a facelift and has updated a lot of features in the recent version. If you are planning to get a luxury SUV then you must add the Range Rover Velar to the list. In this article, we will discuss all you need to know about the Facelift version of the Range Rover Velar.
The Range Rover Velar Facelift will have a 2.0-liter petrol engine. The engine is sure to produce a maximum power output of 247bhp and a peak torque of 365Nm. The Range Rover Velar also gets a diesel engine, which is a 2.0-liter diesel engine. The diesel engine is capable of giving a power output of 201bhp and can churn out a peak torque of 430Nm. Both, the petrol engine and the diesel engine are connected to the eight-speed automatic transmission unit. The brand claims that the engine and transmission systems can lead the car from 0-100 kilometers per hours speed in just 7.5 seconds.
The exterior of the Range Rover Velar is marked by pixel LED headlights, wraparound rear LED tail lights, which are redesigned from the previous version, and an Adjustable LED DRL. The car has a three-dimensional bumper and the same effect can be seen in the grille of the Range Rover Velar. Also, the front bumper has been made to shift a bit lower than the earlier launched version. However, not much has been updated on the side profile of the car.
The interior design of the car is too light, and minimalistic. The car features a Meridian audio system, powered tailgate, ventilated and powered front seats, 4-zone automatic climate control, and a Land Rover’s Pivi Pro system, which measures 11.4 inches. Apart from these features it also has ambient lighting and a 20-mode massage seat for the driver and passenger at the front.
The Range Rover Velar Facelift has been priced at Rs.94.30 lakhs and has color options of- Santorini Black, Fuji White, Varesine Blue, and Zadar Grey. The Varesine Blue and Zadar Grey are the two new colors added to the palate with the facelift. Even the interior has two theme options to choose from- Deep Garnet and Caraway.
