Musafir Hoon Yaaron: In this latest episode of Musafir Hoon Yaaron, we visited one of the most sacred and beautiful religious places in India, the birthplace of Lord Shri Krishna and the famous Vrindavan of Uttar Pradesh, which holds fascinating stories of his childhood pastimes. There is such a gathering of pilgrims and tourists here throughout the year, which is a testimony to its importance and people’s faith in Lord Shri Krishna.
Vrindavan is between 150 and 170 kilometres south of the country’s capital, Delhi. If you are looking for a day break and a short spiritual tour, you can hardly find a better place than Vrindavan. Here you will get such a religious experience as well as beautiful artwork and stories that will remove your tiredness. We didn’t feel tired even after travelling the whole day; we chose a shop named ‘Gabbar Kachori‘ for breakfast, where the taste of delicious lassi didn’t leave our tongue until Delhi.
We felt a little hungry while roaming around, so we enjoyed a full meal at Seth Anandram Jaipuria Bhawan. A large number of pilgrims visit Vrindavan during the festivals of Janmashtami and Holi. The places of interest here are not far from each other; you can cover the main attractions and tourist places here in just one day. The best places to visit in Vrindavan are Seva Kunj and Nidhiban, the Banke Bihari Temple, and the Prem Mandir.
