500 grams of mutton 2 large onions, finely chopped 3 tomatoes, chopped 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste 1/2 cup yogurt (dahi) 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds 1 teaspoon red chili powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon garam masala 1 teaspoon of coriander powder Salt to taste Fresh coriander leaves
So for marinating the mutton, take a bowl and add the mutton, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, and salt as per your taste. Mix everything well and leave it for, like, 30 minutes.
Now for cooking, take a nonstick pan and cook it on medium heat. Now add the marinated mutton and let it cook for like 15-20 minutes until it releases its own juices.
Once you see the mutton is releasing its own juice, add the onions, which should be chopped, and cook it until it gets translucent.
Then add the chopped tomatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes until they become soft.
Now that the button is fully done, check whether everything is perfect or not. You can adjust anything you think is not there.
Hot steamed rice or roti should be served with the no-oil mutton curry.
Make sure to whisk the mixture occasionally in a non-stick pan to avoid sticking. Adding some water will help if it starts to stick.
